The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE)

The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in the Dangme East District has carried out some civic education activities during PCA gatherings.

The common interest between NCCE and PCA in promoting public awareness and good citizenship through information sharing by PCA members is highly appreciated.

The NCCE has taken advantage of the synergistic relationship with PCA for good health, improved personal and environmental hygiene, collective action among citizens with different backgrounds such as ethnicity, political party preference and religion and forwarded one of its staff to operate as an administrator from the PCA office.

By this initiative, the NCCE has made strategic inroad into the CDA/PCA system and stands to benefit by harnessing the potential of community action in furtherance of civic education.
