The Ghana Private Road Transport Union
The Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) in Ada-Foah has entered into a special relationship with Parasite Control Association (PCA).
The GPRTU has taken advantage of their encounter with a cross section of the people daily to initiate an anti-littering awareness campaign.
In addition, the GPRTU is supporting the PCA in a truly interesting way. It is providing free daily transportation to the PCA administrative staff from Ada-Foah to the PCA Office at the Ada Secondary School which is a few kilometres away. This is true honest contribution to a development process.
The professional acuteness of the Dangme East Police in Ada-Foah is in the view of many admirable.
The Police have as usual played their role of ensuring peace and security in the society and helped to implement PCA activities in harmony.
One fine Sunday morning, all police officers who were not on duty did something special which is worth noting.
They joined Community Development Association (CDA) or PCA members from Ada-Foah and youth from Big Ada to start the installation of wooden pegs along the shoreline for the sea defence monitoring project.
The PCA Youth Pioneers is one of the most motivating groups within the Parasite Control Association (PCA).
This is because; the Youth Pioneers include many unemployed youth even though no allowances are paid to PCA members.
Notwithstanding, this group has recorded one of the most spectacular successes of Community Directed Development (CDD) through PCA as they champion environmental sanitation improvement almost on daily basis.
