On 15 October 2007, Mr. Joseph Quartey, who also supports CDDF ‘Photo Initiative’, donated some laboratory coats to the Foundation to facilitate research work by CDD Student Pioneers in the communities.

The donation was accepted at the CDDF Head Quarters and was received by the President, Prof K. M. Bosompem, on behalf of the Foundation. The President expressed thanks for the donation and emphasized that it was well appreciated. Prof K.M. Bosompem said one of CDDF’s main philosophical pillars is recognizing people’s contributions and celebrating them. He revealed that each donors name is stored in a special database. Mr. Joseph Quartey, who is already on the CDDF mailing list (JOIN YAHOO GROUP, cddfpresident@yahoo.co.uk) is a staff of the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, College of Health Sciences, University of Ghana.

The President took the opportunity to inform the audience about how CDDF stands to create innovative global partnerships to give Africa the needed big push for sustainable development.
