On the 29th of December 2007 the women’s wing of CDDF also called CDDF Women fro Africa (wFa) held its first meeting
Upon the Initiative of CDDF President (Prof. K. M. Bosompem), the Foundation has formed a women’s organization called CDDF women For Africa (wFa). The first meeting of wFa was held on the 29th of December 2007. The pioneering ladies who were present at this meeting were identified as National Organizers, whose responsibility is to help organize women in CDDF intervention (project areas). The aim is to form a truly functional umbrella women’s organization to promote gender equality and enhance the natural roles of women in development.

At the meeting the President of CDDF encouraged the ladies to let out their natural talents and promote leadership with new initiatives and innovation. The women organizer for wFa, Ms. Nelly Dela McAdaletey, conducts activities from the office of the President.
